PICK UP AT END OF SHOW FROM THE SEWARD PARK AUDUBON CENTER

Tea Time Minis have become something of a collector's piece — small enough to gift, special enough to keep, and honestly a little hard to part with once you've seen one in person.

Each mini is painted by hand in gouache on half of an upcycled tea bag, using a transfer method I developed myself to protect the delicate surface from sketching directly on it. From there I paint in every detail with a brush so small it practically qualifies as a rumor. The tea bag's own string is repositioned and reattached, a double circular mat adds the finishing touch, and the finished piece is set in a 6x6 inch wooden frame — ready to hang right out of the box.

No two are exactly alike. The subject changes with each drop, but the obsessive attention to tiny detail doesn't.
